Shipping Policy
All merchandise is shipped by Blue Genes via UPS. The cost of shipping is determined as follows:
• Ground $10 (5-10 Business Days.)
• 2-Day $15 (2 Business Days).
• Next Day $30 (Overnight Delivery) *If ordered by 1 PM EST on the previous day.
Orders placed Monday-Friday before 1 PM EST will begin processing that day, excluding holidays, and will ship within 48 hours pending availability and credit verification. All orders placed after 1 PM EST will begin processing the next business day, and ship within 48 hours. Orders placed on Friday after 1 PM EST on Fridays will begin processing on the following Monday. Shopbluegenes.com will contact you with a follow-up email if the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock or if we need to confirm availability.
• We use UPS for delivery, and therefore are unable to deliver to APO/FPO addresses, as well as P.O. Boxes. We do not offer Saturday delivery.
• *DELIVERY TIME DOES NOT INCLUDE SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, OR HOLIDAYS.
• If an item is out of stock, you will be notified by Blue Genes that the item cannot be shipped and you will not be charged for that item.
• Free shipping promotion does not include international shipping.
Return and Exchange Policy
Blue Genes allows returns provided that return requests are made within fourteen days from the date of order confirmation and that you follow the instructions below. All returned merchandise must be unworn, unused and in original condition with all original tags attached. Blue Genes has the right to refuse return of any merchandise that Blue Genes determines does not meet these requirements. Sale items, jewelry, sunglasses, lingerie and swimwear are not returnable and all sales of this merchandise are final.
Original shipping and handling costs are not refundable and you are responsible for all shipping and handling costs associated with returning merchandise.
At the time of return, you may specify your preference for (i) receiving a credit in your original form of payment, (ii) exchanging the returned merchandise or (iii) receiving the amount of the credit for the returned merchandise in the form of a gift card.
All exchanges are subject to availability of the item requested in the exchange and are subject to your payment of any cost difference for the item as well as any additional shipping, taxes and import duties.
Gifts may be exchanged for an item of the same value or an item of greater value; provided you pay any cost difference as well as any additional shipping, taxes and import duties.
Merchandise that is purchased at www.shopbluegenes.com cannot be returned to the Blue Genes store.
How to return an item:
1. Email us at CustomerService@ShopBlueGenes.com to receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Please be aware that the issuance of an RA# does not guarantee that the merchandise will be accepted for return or that the charge for the merchandise will automatically be credited back to your credit card. You will be notified of acceptance once the merchandise has been returned and inspected by Blue Genes.
2. Please print out the email containing the RA# and include that with your full name, address, phone number, email address and reason for return along with the returned merchandise. 3. Merchandise must be shipped securely packaged, pre-paid, and insured, and must be received by Blue Genes within seven days of receipt of RA#. Suite 214 Atlanta, GA 30326 *RA # Blue Genes recommends shipping returned merchandise via UPS or insured parcel post for tracking purposes. Blue Genes does not take any responsibility for reimbursement or compensation in the event that any return packages are lost, stolen, or mishandled. Please also note that Blue Genes cannot accept any packages that are sent Cash/Check on Delivery (COD). *Please note that RA# must be legibly written on the outside of the return package to ensure proper and timely handling of the return. Returned merchandise will not be processed nor will any refunds be made without an RA#. 4. Upon receipt of your returned merchandise, Blue Genes will send you an email regarding the status of your return. We will process your return request within five business days following receipt of the package. 5. If your return request is approved, unless a gift certificate or exchange is requested, all refunds will be made in the method of original payment. Gift Cards
Gift cards can be purchased at www.shopbluegenes.com in denominations of $50. These gift cards can be used to purchase merchandise on our website and in the Blue Genes stores. Gift card purchases are non-refundable and gift cards have no cash value.
